First Visit
Stepping into a church for the first time comes with a mix of excitement and perhaps a touch of uncertainty. We get it. Questions might be popping up, and we're here to help make your first visit as comfortable as possible by describing what to expect during our services, the various types of events we host, and how our congregation comes together in fellowship.
Our hope is that these insights will give you a clear picture of what to look forward to and leave you feeling confident about the experience you'll have with us.

Walking In and Beyond
What to Wear:
Come as you like, whether you are comfortable in your finest or in casual clothes!

Arrival:
Plan to arrive at 181 Bridge Street, Tunkhannock, PA by 10:30am for our main morning worship service.
Parking and entering:
There is plenty of parking in the main lot, plus an overflow lot at the rear of the property. It will not take you long to park and enter the church using the large glass doors under the portico.

Greetings:
As you enter you will notice our "information table" between the entry doors. Please help yourself to a Sunday Bulletin and any other goodies on the table! Say hello to the friendly folks you are sure to encounter, and let them know it is your first visit! The sanctuary is bright and welcoming, so just find a seat you like and get comfortable!

Giving:
A collection box for tithes and offerings is available near the information table between the entry doors.
Sunday School
We would love for you to participate in our Sunday School. Here's what we offer.
Age Groups:
Sunday School is available for ages three through adult in the following age groups:

Ages 3 - 7: The "Love Bugs"
Ages 7 - 11: The "Prickly Porcupines"
Ages 12 - 18: The "Funky Fresh Frogs"
Adults: The "Rock Badgers”
Time:
All classes meet every Sunday from 9:30-10:20am, prior to our regular Sunday morning Worship service.

Child Safety:
Please be sure to contact us ahead of time if you are bringing a child to attend. This ensures that we have adequate time to prepare for your child, keep them safe, and answer any questions you have!
Sunday Worship Service
What to expect:
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:30am and typically ends by Noon. We start with announcements, then worship in song, followed by a message from Pastor Rick.

Children:
If you would like to have your child attend our children's church or nursery during our main service, please be sure to contact us ahead of time to ensure that we have adequate time to prepare for your child and answer any questions you have!

Worship:
We hope you will enjoy worshiping with us in song. Lyrics are displayed on large screens and there are hymn books and Bibles available under our comfy chairs.
​
Communion:
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Sunday Bulletin:
Bulletins with announcements and information are located on the information table between the glass entry doors.
