At Tunkhannock Assembly of God, we believe children and teenagers aren't just the church of tomorrow... they're an important part of the church today.
From our youngest children through high school seniors, we provide a safe, caring environment where every child can learn about Jesus, build lasting friendships, and grow in their faith. Each child is given the opportunity to grow and participate at their own speed.
Whether your family has attended church for years or you're visiting a church for the very first time, we'd love to welcome your children.
Sunday Morning
Nursery
Loving care is available for our youngest children during the morning worship service so parents can participate knowing their little ones are in a safe, nurturing environment.
Sunday School
Sunday School classes provide engaging, Bible-centered teaching for children and youth of all ages. Lessons are designed specifically for each age group to help students understand Scripture and apply it to everyday life.
Age Groups:
Sunday School is available for ages three (through adult), with the children in the following age groups:
Ages 3 - 7: The "Love Bugs"
Ages 7 - 11: The "Prickly Porcupines"
Ages 12 - 18: The "Funky Fresh Frogs"
Children's Church
Children enjoy age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, games, and activities designed to help them understand God's Word in a fun and meaningful way.

Wednesday Nights
Youth Ministries
(Grades 6 - 12)
Our Youth Ministry is a place where middle and high school students can belong, ask questions, make friends, and strengthen their walk with Christ.
Every gathering includes opportunities for fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, discussion, and plenty of fun along the way.
Whether your student has grown up in church or is just beginning to explore faith, they are always welcome.
Wednesday Youth Group

At Tunkhannock Assembly of God
Our youth typically* meet every Wednesday evening throughout the year.
*To help make your child's first visit as smooth as possible, we encourage parents of first-time youth attendees to call the church before coming on a Wednesday evening. Occasionally our Youth Ministry schedule or meeting location changes for special events, outreach activities, or off-site gatherings.
We'll be happy to let you know where the group is meeting and answer any questions you may have.
